Privacy Policy - the basics

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy. 

 

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location. 

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

Refund & Cancellation Policy Last updated: 8/02/26 Our video editing services are custom, creative, and digital in nature. Once work begins, significant time, coordination, and resources are committed by our editing team, and the delivered product cannot be resold. For these reasons, we maintain the following refund policy: Cancellation before work starts You may cancel your order and receive a full refund (minus any non-refundable payment processing fees of 3–5%) if: The cancellation request is made within 24 hours of placing the order, and You have not yet submitted your footage, project brief, style references, or any other project materials. After this 24-hour window, or once you provide any project materials/brief, this full-refund option is no longer available. After project materials are submitted Once we have received your footage, assets, brief, or instructions and the project has been assigned to our editing team (or editing has commenced), all payments become non-refundable. This reflects the immediate commitment of time and resources on custom work. After delivery and revision process Your selected package includes 1–2 rounds of reasonable revisions (as defined in the package description). Once the final video is delivered and the included revision rounds are completed (or the client approves the final version), no refunds will be issued. In the rare case of clear technical failure on our part (e.g., wrong resolution, corrupted file, or failure to deliver within the agreed timeline without valid reason), we will correct the issue at no additional cost. If the issue cannot be resolved, a partial refund may be considered solely at our discretion. No refunds for subjective reasons Refunds are not provided for: Change of mind Subjective dissatisfaction with the creative direction, style, pacing, color grade, music choice, etc. New creative ideas or changes in project vision after work has begun Personal preference differences To help ensure the best outcome, we strongly recommend providing clear references, examples, and a detailed brief before work starts. How to request cancellation or refund All cancellation or refund requests must be submitted in writing via: Email: Alchemy_g_s@outlook.com We will review and respond within 48 hours. Approved refunds (when applicable) are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
